Stage 2: Textured Meals
Start with 3 oz if your baby is ready for soft textures and mixed ingredients.
Stage 3: Toddler Meals
Start with 3 oz and adjust as needed. One jar may provide 1–2 servings.
Note: Only serve meals with ingredients your child has already been introduced to.
- Thaw the meal for approximately 2 ½ hours or overnight in the refrigerator for best results. Only heat what will be consumed, cold-store the remainder.
- In a 1.5L saucepan, add 2 ½ cups of water and bring it to a boil, then turn off the heat.
- Loosen the lid on the jar and place the thawed meal in the hot water.
- Let it sit for 2 minutes, then carefully remove the lid, stir the meal, and replace the lid. Leave the jar in the water for an additional 3-5 minutes until fully warmed.
- Taste-test before serving to ensure a safe and enjoyable temperature.
3oz Serving
- Ensure the meal is thawed for optimal heating.
- Remove contents from the jar and place 3oz of the meal in a microwave-safe container.
- Cover and heat on high for 15 seconds.
- Stir, check the temperature, and allow it to cool briefly before serving.
6oz Serving
- Ensure the meal is thawed for optimal heating.
- Remove contents from the jar and place 6oz of the meal in a microwave-safe container.
- Cover and heat on high for 30 seconds.
- Stir well, check the temperature, and allow it to cool before serving.
